ISO 9001 is the world’s best-known quality management standard. Certification is always carried out by an external independent assessor, and we have passed annual audits since 2012. The answer to the question – Why do we want to maintain the certificate year after year is: when a customer chooses us, they choose a partner who is committed to systematic quality management and continuous development. This is the purpose of our long-term operations – customer satisfaction.
Benefits for the customer
A quality system is not just an internal tool for the company, but a concrete benefit for our customer. It improves quality, increases reliability, strengthens customer orientation and supports long-term cooperation. When a customer chooses an ISO 9001 certified supplier, they are choosing a supplier who values quality as much as the customer does. In this article, some of the content and requirements of the standard that guide our daily work.

ISO 9001 Quality Management System
ISO 9001 is part of the worldwide series of standards for quality management systems (-9000). The first version of the standard was published as early as 1986, so it is already a highly developed standard. As the name suggests, the goal of the standard is the continuous development of operations and increasing customer satisfaction.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an international standardization organization founded in 1947 with the task of producing standards. The organisation operates independently and its members are national standardisation organisations – in Finland it is the Finnish Standards Association.
The abbreviation ISO actually comes from the Greek word “isos”, which means equal or the same, referring to the basic idea of standardization – uniform, the same standards everywhere.
