In industrial pipelines, temperature control is a significant part of safe and efficient operations. Especially in the oil, gas and chemical industries, maintaining the right temperature for products has a direct impact on process reliability, energy efficiency and environmental safety. OnatexHeat is an ATEX-certified, reliable system for potentially explosive atmospheres and offers a modern and reliable solution for this.
Features
The ATEX-certified OnatexHeat trace heating system consists of four areas, which can be placed in the same place or distributed to different rooms, if necessary. The required ATEX space and equipment classes are customer-specific, which is why OnatexHeat is designed for demanding conditions. OnatexHeat heat tracing cables can be placed in e.g. category zone 1 and device class 2G.
The system is designed to be very easy to use – trace heating information is part of the process and can be seen on the same screen – no separate pages or programs. This means that you can flexibly control trace heating with process control.
With a wide range of connection options, the system can also be easily integrated into existing systems.
Benefits
- Automation keeps the heat right at all times – no expensive human forgetfulness when the heating is left on unnecessarily
- Up to 70% more compact than comparable systems
- Accelerated loading and unloading
- Avoid process downtime and unnecessary costs when the products are at the right temperature for processing
- Improved environment and operational safety
- Plant reliability is improved when fluids are at the desired temperatures at the right time
Our ATEX quality systems are audited annually
As the manufacturer of the OnatexHeat system, we are responsible for ensuring that it meets the requirements of the ATEX directive. In practice, this also means that our quality management system based on the ISO 9001 standard is audited annually also for ATEX. OnatexHeat belongs to a product group in where conformity has been assessed by a notified body.
ATEX DIRECTIVE, 2014/34/EU
The European Union Directive 2014/34/EU applies to machinery and equipment used in potentially explosive atmospheres. In addition to product requirements, it imposes various responsibilities on the manufacturer, importer and sellers of the product. This ensures that the manufactured equipment is safe for people and the rest of the environment.
Equipment for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX)

In an explosive atmosphere, an explosive atmosphere may be present.
The CE marking is on all electrical appliances sold in the European Union. It indicates that the manufacturer of the device declares that it complies with EU regulations and regulations and that it can be freely sold in the region.
